Our Story
I started this company one day long ago because a magical whisk of gold laying on the counter spoke to me. It said... go forth and bake. Bake well, bake hard, and use your soul in the kitchen.
Ok, maybe we didn't start out quite that magically. How it really went down is pretty typical...
I have been a budding chef, and photog for a long time. It started with the many years I spent baking with my Mom, and Grandmothers in the kitchen. We weren't pro's by any means, and we didn't have state of the art kitchens... but we made priceless memories.
For me being in the kitchen is like a nostalgic experience every time. My heart is there, and my soul followed. My fondest childhood memories include putting frosting on cookies at Christmas, and mixing a box of cake for us to enjoy for a small birthday party. When I warm my oven, I literally warm my heart.
I later went to school at Valencia College For Baking & Pastry Management to fine tune my skills with some of the Best Chefs in the business, and thought how fun would that be to make fun creations in the kitchen... for a living?! After I started bringing my cakes everywhere I realized my second hobby, photography was becoming more honed by each party. Soon people knew with my cakes, came my camera...
So now, my goal is to share my passion for great food, great parties, and a capturing that good time in a frame. How else could I spend my life than creating art both edible, and tangible? I love to capture that moment for you, as well as help shape it.
If food is life, it might as well be good, and who doesn't want the good life?!
